After 2 days of trying to weave some majic photographing and creating a story at the School for the Blind in India. I sensed something behind me.Hearing soft steps down a staircase. I turned and knew what was going to happen before it did ... a beautiful young albino white as white, calmly walking down the stairs into a larger space. I placed my camera, moved closer and saw she felt there was something in her space. I took one shot, knowing the result before it happened. As a photographer I saw light from a entity I knew was translucent. She carried grace, white light and yet with the slightest hint of concern. The balance of these elements produced one of my most accolaided portraits. 'Savitri' I called her - Sanskrit for 'the godess of light'. And there she was.
