I had been busy dancing with the ballerinas, with my old Pentax 35mm Film camera, capturing light, movement and dance. To the left of me I noticed a girl had been watching me for a while, hiding behind others, making it difficult for me to get that shot of her.
I sensed this for a good 25 minutes. I then paused, went quielty up to her, bent down and said softly "Can I take a photo of you ... not dancing, ... just a photo?" She looked at me carefully and then nodded. I led her away from the group. She then simply stood in front of me and put her hands out as though to recieve something. I took just one shot that I realised what had just happened. I said "Thank you". She walked back to the group dancing, paused and gave me one last quick look. It was then I felt, quietly, I had received another very special moment.
