3 Years and 70 photographs later, I've tried to capture The Cross as one of the oldest and most powerful symbols on the planet.

My Little Red Riding Hood rides on a wonderful world journey.

Humans are beautiful and its humans that matter.

Never will toilet paper be seen in the same light again.

Light, shadows and placement celebrating the form of perfume bottles.

For months I drove past this beautiful garden.

To produce some of the most beautiful yet difficult of photographs - Glass Wetplates.

Zoe's turned 10 and her dad has a new job in the big city. She misses him.

Sven wanted to climb mountains like his father.

Here’s a shot I am really excited about. As you know, I've always been a storm chaser/viewer.

‘Replicas’ was a studio album released by Gary Numan in 1979. Replicas was based on a dystopian book set in a not-too-distant future metropolis.

It was 5.30am, - 3 degrees on a crisp clear blue morning I walked 10km's to a billabong where the platypus swim.

"Richard lives for three things - his family of his wife Amanda and three girls, his photographs and his whales (well not actually his whales - the Earth's whales.) Oh I should also mention plants and perhaps especially flowers. OK, four things.

We all feel. We all feel differently at different times always. There are ends of either spectrum where we feel other sometimes scary and painful things.

Just a wonderful trip. A journey with my two favorite things - my surfboard and my camera.

I got a call late at night. "Hi, it's Jim. I heard from one of the parents at my kids school you're a photographer. I have seen your work.

I had been busy dancing with the ballerinas, with my old Pentax 35mm Film camera, capturing light, movement and dance. To the left of me I noticed a girl had been watching me for a while, hiding behind others, making it difficult for me to get that shot of her.

After 2 days of trying to weave some majic photographing and creating a story at the School for the Blind in India. I sensed something behind me.

In India, I'd spent the last 3 days exploring and photographing in the street near my hotel. Walking back, exhausted from the day an old man grabbed me by the arm and said 'Quickly, come with me!

The Dance school was held at a converted church, wooden floorboards, ever-changing shafts of light through open wooden windows, some with blinds, all under a massive ceiling all of which created the most wonderful ambience and space to capture moments in a very special and highly rated ballet school.

These are our constant ..... signs big and small, old signs, new signs, recognisable signs, interesting signs, signs we ignore, signs we just don't see anymore, signs that have become transparent, signs we obey, signs we disobey, so many signs, all Signs of our Times.

After 8 exhausting days of photographing I left my camera behind and went for a relaxing walk. It was then that I stumbled on a building - The School for the Blind.

I woke up at 5.00am, put the surfboard on the roof, drove to my local beach, but there was no surf. Dawn was just breaking.

"'The Last Breath'. I did not read the story only after I looked at the pictures number of times, very powerful, humanity-eyes-touches-connections- hard to put in the words but very strong. No poem, book, movie can beat it. Continuity…flowers and veils….feet and touch ......sensitivity"
